The Gallery shows a wide range of exhibitions from collections on loan from other galleries and museums and work by some of today’s is leading artists under the concept of text+work, as well as work by students from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth.

The Gallery is a major resource for contemporary visual art at the Institute and has received regional and national recognition.

text + work is the concept which underpins the exhibition programme of The Gallery at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. The concept seeks to provide a forum for challenging and productive dialogue between innovative contemporary art, design practice and commentary.

The Arts Institute at Bournemouth has gained University College title in recognition of its academic achievements and progress. We remain one of the most successful and most popular higher education specialists, with an excellent national and international reputation, committed to providing the highest quality, industry-relevant creative degrees. We now offer over 20 degrees in art, design, media and performance, as well as a range of short courses, a unique postgraduate programme, and bespoke services to business.

We are proud to announce that from 1st July 2009 our new title will be THE ARTS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE AT BOURNEMOUTH.
